President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is confident that his administration’s performance will be judged positively by future generations, despite criticisms from some quarters.
Speaking at the launch of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s Bicentennial Anniversary recently, he cited transformative policies in education, health, industry, infrastructure, and agriculture, as well as efforts to promote good governance and economic development.
The outgoing president expressed pride in his administration’s accomplishments.
“I speak to you proud of the achievements my government has chalked under God’s guidance and the support of our people. From transformative policies in education, health, industry, infrastructure and agriculture, to the promotion of good governance and economic development.”
Despite criticisms from some who describe his government as the worst in Ghana’s 4th republic, Akufo-Addo remains confident that his legacy will be judged favorably. “I’m confident in all humility, prosperity will judge well the Akufo-Addo government’s performance. Future generations will look back on this era and say that we laid a strong foundation for progress and prosperity,” he said.
